Born into a creative family, Randa honed her creative abilities as an educator. Not only did she inspire students to delve into creative projects as alternative forms of assessment, she produced, directed and wrote for stage performances with 100 cast members and stage crew, 500 audience members followed by a cultural feast. The reviews made Randa aware of her unique talents and she understood that she could help more than her students and their families.
Having worked at SONY BMG with international artists such as Beyonce and Destiny's Child, Nas, Bow Wow, 3 6 Mafia, Killer Mike and more, Randa designed an educational program that including artists going into schools across the country, discussing the status of HIP HOP. A remarkable accomplishment for an unknown.
Randa has also presented her scripts across the country, to rave reviews and have elicited interest from multiple Hollywood and New York Producers.
They said it could not be done, a script cannot have two main characters, yet the readers of MEEK remain split. Some gravitate towards NIA, the female lead being the main character. While others take the traditional approach and believe the lead male, MALIK is the the main character. The creator and writer of this screenplay has a deeper more intrinsic purpose for the character development.
Set in the iconic 1980s, Malik, a rap prodigy mets suburbanite, Nia. With a crew of loyal, talented friends, they help propel Malik to the forefront of the rap game. Due to treachery within the industry, the crew dismantles and so does Malik's integrity - leaving his career and purpose in shambles.
